TransDigm Group Inc. Partners with Benedictine High School for Scholarship Support

CLEVELAND. OHIO – Benedictine High School is pleased to announce the deepened partnership with TransDigm Group Inc. who have generously committed to supporting 20 low-income students with tuition assistance and scholarship support on an annual basis. Headquartered in Cleveland. TransDigm Group Inc. is a leading global producer, designer and supplier of highly engineered aerospace components, systems and subsystems that are used on nearly all commercial and military aircraft in service today. The Douglas Peacock Scholarship is awarded to 5 students per grade (20 annually) who demonstrate academic excellence, high character, extra-curricular involvement, and have a financial need to attend Benedictine High School. Douglas Peacock co-founded TransDigm in 1993 with close friend and business partner. Nick Howley, and was the CEO from 1993-2001.

The scholarship pays tribute to Mr. Peacock’s legacy and entrepreneurial spirit while providing financial support to assist economically disadvantaged young men receive a dynamic, high-quality education.
